Act III ~ “Do you love me?”

[The time is 9:00 PM and the panel starts with Drac’ and Marlene kissing.  Drac’ has a surprised look on his face and then the page zooms into Marlene (only part of Drac’s head can be seen) who is looking away and down.  She then says something quietly.]

Marlene: If I said I love you….would you love me back?

[Next page is of Drac’ and Marlene kissing and in a large caption it is labeled as “Do you love me?”

[Next scene is labeled in the corner as 8:25 PM, and the panel zooms out to a picture of Drac’ and Marlene at a table, eating and talking, soon it zooms in]

CHANCE OF FLASHBACK)

Marlene: Hey do you remember how we first met?

Drac: Yeah.

[Scene goes to a dark rainy scene and Drac’ is about 7 years old and is hiding in an alleyway, crying, and Marlene is also 7.  The old man when he is a bit younger is holding out a hand to pull Drac’ up, but Drac’ refuses to move until Marlene smiles at him and then reaches forward and Drac’ grabs her hand and leaves with the two of them]

(In letter only this goes with the scene)

Drac’:  Yeah..I remember that day, I ran away from home and got lost.  Your Gramps found me and helped me.

[Next scene goes to Drac’s apartment before he moved in (its empty except for the bed)]

Drac: He found a place for me to stay.

[Next scene is of Drac’ sweeping the butcher shop]

Drac’: And gave me a job to afford my place…

Drac’: But best of all…

[Goes to a picture of Marlene at age 7, smiling, eyes closed in hoy]

Drac: He gave me a friend.

[Scene goes back to present, and Marlene was apparently bored to death and is sleeping (bubble out of nose)]

Drac’: Wake the hell up!!

[He turns the table over]

[Marlene wakes up]

Marlene: Huh? {? Above head}

[Drac’ has many stress marks (veins) on his face and yells]

Drac’: Were you even listening?

Marlene: Uh….you lost me after two words.

Drac’: Ugh…lets just leave…oi, waiter, check!

[Scene ends]

8:55 PM

[Scene starts with Drac’ and Marlene, walking down a road]

Drac’: Well that was fun.

Marlene: Yeah, but….

[Marlene stops]  [Drac’ turns around in confusion]

Drac’: But what?

[Marlene looks down (Shadows over eyes)]

Marlene: Well…

[She slowly takes a step towars him, but trups]

Drac’: !

[Drac’ catches her; she slowly looks up, blushing, and kisses him]

9:00 PM

Drac’: !!!
[Drac’ is now blushing and Marlene then breaks the kiss]

Marlene: If I said I love you, would you love me back?

[Drac’ looks away and is deep red]

Drac: Well….I…uh….

[Marlene looks away, with a sad look on her face]

Marlene: So…you don’t?

[Drac’ I-I never said I don’t.

[Marlene looks at him angrily, moving forward]

Marlene: Yes or no!?!

[Just as he is about to answer, the stalker appears behind Marlene]

Stalker: Ke he he, what’s this, eh?  A romantic stroll by chance?

[Drac’ is surprised and the man grabs Marlene and uses a chloroform rag on her.  Drac’ runs at him, but the man jumps back, and injects Marlene with something]

Drac’: What did you do to her?

Stalker:I injected her with a special poison…wanna know what it does?

Drac’: You…

[Drac’s hand is clenched at his side]

Stalker: It causes the heart rate to speed up to a point in which the heart actually explodes, cool huh?

Drac’: Bastard!!!

Stalker: Call me what you want, but you have two hours till girlies heart goes bye-bye.

[Stalker Pulls out a bottle]

Stalker: If you can kill me and take this, she might just live, that is, if you can kill me.

[When he says that he smiles, let’s go of Marlene, and drops a note and jumps and disappears]
Stalker: See you soon, Halfling.

[Drac’ jumps and catches Marlene, grabs the note, and gets up with her and walks towards his apartment]

10:00 PM

[Drac’ arrives at the apartment, and sets Marelene on his bed]

[Drac’ then looks at her]

Drac’ Marlene…I…love you…

[Drac’ then pulls on his hunting uniform and his weapons]

[Khi then flies on Drac’s back and sticks his talons in two holes on the back of his jacket.  Drac’ goes to the roof, and Khi gets bigger and spreads his wings and they take off, and Drac’ drops the note and it says “The clock tower”]
